Do you think that When the sun shines, The Moon fearfully hides?
This work is 99% human-made, including the front cover and back art. The 1% remaining, although it would be less than that realistically, is the synopsis. Truth is I have tried to write it initially, and I will put it here too, but it was somehow the hardest part of the writing process.
How do you give a brief overview of what your novel contains? No idea, and I did not want to bother my friends and certainly did not want to pay for someone for it. Getting an editor for a chapter, a proofreader for everything, and an artist for the front/back cover was not the best financial decision of my life, let's put it that way.
Also just to point out my use of ' ― ' is very much punctuation I appreciate. Proof of it are in my works pre-LLM boom, even pre-covid in some cases I think although it was not an early development. Although I doubt it really needs pointing out, I would rather not have my writing (and music) be accused of things that are not true.
In any event, here's the previous synopsis, and I think we can all agree that this was garbage:
Lixi, a young funeral home employee, befriends Oudis, a being known as a Manifestation: an immortal entity who embodies the collective memories of all past life.
Oudis, along with other Manifestations, seeks to end their long-lasting suffering by extinguishing all life — far earlier than nature would intend.
Through laid-back days over the course of a year, Lixi grapples with her role within this existential dilemma, while dealing with her odd relationships with Oudis, Nekrichta (a Manifestation embodying of the future), and Paragoria, Nekrichta’s human partner.
